The Mitsubishi City Multi®'s Variable Refrigerant Flow Zoning (VFRZ) technology is perfect for almost every project, including office buildings, schools, churches, and other commercial spaces. Mitsubishi City Multi® features INVERTER Technology, which varies the capacity of the system to match the building load, while saving energy, lowering humidity and providing the ultimate in comfort with simultaneous cooling and heating (with selected systems) and uses both ductless and ducted indoor units in an almost endless number of configurations.

Design Flexibility
Mitsubishi City Multi® VRFZ sysytems provide engineers the flexibility to meet their application designs ranging from the simple to the complex. Each City Multi® R2 and Y-eries system can be configured
for up to 32 zones within a building. The S-Series system can be configured for up to 8 zones. Multiple City Multi® systems can be integrated into our controls network to air-condition and manage
up to 2,000 zones from a single networked computer using Mitsubishi Electric furnished software.

The total applied capacity of the Mitsubishi City Multi® R2-Series VRFZ Sysytem's indoor units can be up to 150% of the capacity of the outdoor unit by taking advantage of load
diversity and simultaneous cooling/heating operation. Mitsubishi City Multi® VRFZ Systems are able to satisfy a significantly higher building load by efficiently distributing
the capacity to the outdoor unit and indoor units while using much less energy.

rated as low as 24 dB(A), making them ideal for sound-sensitive applications such as classrooms, guest rooms, and libraries where it's important to have a quiet environment.
With a wide line-up of indoor units in connection with a flexible piping system, the Mitsubishi City Multi® Y-Series can be configured for all applications. Depending on capacity, up to 32 indoor units can be connected to maximize an engineer's design options. This feature allows easy air conditioning in each area with convenient individual controllers.

S-Series Solution
The Mitsubishi City Multi® S-Series for homes and small offices offers all the features and benefits of our large commercial Mitsubishi City Multi® Y-Series.
The S-Series Solution features a single-phase outdoor unit with Variable Refrigerant Flow Zoning (VRFZ) technology and City Multi Controls Network (CMCN) to cool or heat
all zones with a variety of indoor unit styles. The compact outdoor unit utilizes R410A refrigerant and an INVERTER-driven compressor to use energy efficiently.
A maximum of eight Mitsubishi City Multi® indoor units can be connected with up to 130% connected capacity, depending on diversity. City Multi Controls Network intelligently
manages the Mitsubishi City Multi® building solution through the zone controllers and system controllers and optionally through a networked PC to manage individual comfort
